A little care keeps handmade jewelry beautiful for years.
- Keep it dry. Remove jewelry before showering, swimming or washing your hands, especially micro mosaic, enamel and mother-of-pearl pieces.
- Put it on last. Apply perfume, lotion and hairspray before wearing your jewelry, and avoid contact with cleaning products and chemicals.
- Handle gently. Mosaic, enamel and natural shell are delicate. Avoid knocks and pressure.
- Clean softly. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak mosaic, enamel or shell pieces or use harsh polish on them.
- Store separately. Keep each piece in its pouch or box, away from other jewelry, to prevent scratches and tangles.
- Sterling silver may darken with time. A soft silver polishing cloth restores its shine on plain silver areas.
